The Marc Santi Foundation Annual Gala
Every year around the month of February the Marc Santi Foundation hosts an elegant evening of dining and dancing. This formal event held annually at Le Parc Banquet hall in Markham has truly become an anticipated evening that we all look forward to. Wonderful music, an exceptional menu, and a passionate effort towards raising funds for those in need is what we promise each year. Since the first Valentine’s Gala held in 2005 this event has raised over $60,000! The Foundation would like to thank those who have supported the Gala since its inception and are always excited to see new and old faces that attend each year.
2010 Gala
This year's event was held on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at 6 p.m. The evening was a wonderful success. Thank you to the many volunteers, sponsors and guest who contributed to its success.
2009 Gala - Chicago at Dusk featuring Matt Dusk & Rick Campanelli
Featured in our 5th year anniversary of the annual Gala was a live performance from International Recording Artist and Crooner
Matt Dusk (www.mattdusk.com). On March 7th, 2009, at Le Parc Markham Banquet Center, this chart topping artist helps us swing into the Chicago of old. Our guest host Rick Campanelli & velvety smooth singer Errol Fisher returned once again to help us stage what was definitely one of our most memorable events. Our silent and live auction also were wonderful successes.
2008 Gala A Huge Success
On Saturday February 16th, 2008 The Marc Santi Foundation hosted its 4th Annual Valentine's Gala at Le Parc Banquet Hall in Markham. This year's theme was an "Evening in Central Park.” The gala was a smashing success with over 300 guests present and over 50 silent and live auction items available. During the cocktail and antipasto hour guests were entertained by the soothing sounds of the “Errol Fisher Band.” Later in the evening, guests were able to kick and dance to the energizing sound of the band “September.” Rick Campanelli, from ET Canada, served as the host for the evening and was a hit amongst the attendees. James Weber was the lucky door prize winner of a weekend trip to New York City. The evening also witnessed the unveiling of the Marc Santi Foundation's new 5 year, $25,000 commitment to the Sunnybrook's Emergency and Trauma Ward Expansion Project. With the gracious support of all sponsors and guests the gala was able to raise over $21,000!!! The Marc Santi Foundation thanks all of those who supported the 4th Annual Valentine's Gala and the organizers look forward to another successful event in 2009!
